The "Basic Kanji Plus" app serves as a comprehensive tool for Japanese learners, rooted in the established Kanji textbooks known as the Basic Kanji Book (Volumes 1 and 2) and the Intermediate Kanji Book (Volumes 1 and 2), published by Bonjinsha Co., Ltd. in 2016 and 2017. This application includes a robust selection of 1,167 Kanji characters, accompanied by approximately 8,000 vocabulary entries spanning beginner to advanced levels. Notably, it features animated demonstrations of Kanji stroke order and audio pronunciations for vocabulary words.

The absence of disruptive advertisements enhances the focus on learning, while the app requires operating system version OS10.3.1 or higher for installation. Users should be aware that performance may vary based on specific mobile device models and environmental factors.
